Privacy & Data
Privacy & Data Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
DayRight is operated by Dayright LLC ("DayRight," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you when you use the DayRight app, website, waitlist, shared Daily Lift pages, and related services.
Information We Collect
Sign in with Apple and account information
DayRight uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. DayRight does not request or collect your name, Apple password, or email address through the current sign-in flow. We use the Apple-provided account identifier and related DayRight/Supabase account identifier to create, authenticate, restore, and secure your account.
App settings and activity
Depending on the features you use, DayRight may store wake-up schedules and nap preferences, category preferences, Daily Lift assignments, views, completions, likes, archive history, streak information, Bright access or subscription status, and Gatekeeper settings and related feature state. We use this information to provide and personalize DayRight, preserve progress, restore your experience across devices, operate Bright features, and prevent duplicate or incorrect Daily Lifts.
Notifications and device data
Daily Lift notifications are scheduled and managed locally on your device. DayRight does not need to store a remote push-notification token for this function.
Gatekeeper and Screen Time information
If you use Gatekeeper, Apple’s Family Controls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks may process the authorization and app-selection information needed to restrict selected apps. Selected-app information is intended to remain on your device and in protected app-group storage used by the Gatekeeper extensions. DayRight does not use selected-app information for advertising or publish it through shared Daily Lift links.
Account-unlinked analytics
DayRight may collect account-unlinked usage events through its first-party Supabase analytics system to understand overall feature use, reliability, and product performance. These events use a persistent installation identifier so we can group activity from the same installation, but they are not connected to your DayRight account, Apple account identifier, name, or email address. Raw account-unlinked analytics may be retained for approximately 24 months. Aggregated, non-identifying reports may be retained longer.
Website analytics
The DayRight website may use Google Analytics 4 for basic website measurement, such as page visits, broad traffic sources, general device or browser information, and approximate geographic region. Google Analytics is not used in the DayRight app, is not connected to DayRight accounts, and is not used for personalized advertising or remarketing in the initial U.S.-only launch.
Waitlist, beta, and support communications
If you join a DayRight waitlist, participate in the beta, or contact support, we may collect your email address and message contents. Waitlist and beta information is kept separate from DayRight app-account information. Existing beta addresses may be processed by MailerLite. Future communications may be sent manually through the DayRight company Gmail account.
Technical information
Apple, Supabase, Gmail, MailerLite, Google Analytics, and website or hosting providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP addresses, device or browser information, timestamps, authentication records, and error or security logs for authentication, security, reliability, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.
Public Daily Lift Links
When you share a Daily Lift, the shared page displays only the Daily Lift content and related source information. It does not display your name, email address, account, preferences, streak, or private activity history. Shared links may remain publicly accessible indefinitely. If a shared page contains an error, rights issue, or other problem, contact us at Support@dayright.app.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate DayRight, including with Apple, Supabase, MailerLite, Gmail, Google Analytics, and website, hosting, security, and infrastructure providers. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property. Information may also transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.
Data Retention
We retain account and app data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide DayRight, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain appropriate business records. Account-unlinked analytics may be retained for approximately 24 months, with aggregated reports retained longer. Waitlist and support information is retained only as reasonably needed.
Account Deletion
You may delete your DayRight account using the in-app account-deletion function. For help, contact Support@dayright.app. When you delete your account, we intend to delete account-linked personal information, including schedules, preferences, Daily Lift history, likes, archive records, streak information, and Bright-access records. We may retain account-unlinked analytics and limited information needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, backup, or recordkeeping purposes. Public Daily Lift links may remain available unless separately removed after review.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the size and nature of DayRight. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may contact us with questions, request help using account deletion, request removal of waitlist, beta, or support email information, and unsubscribe from marketing communications. You may manage Apple, notification, Screen Time, and device permissions through Apple’s settings.
California residents may have additional rights under applicable California law, including rights to know about, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information. DayRight does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Adults Only
DayRight is intended only for people age 18 and older. We do not knowingly design DayRight for or collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DayRight or our data practices change. We will update the effective date and provide an in-app or website notice for material changes.
